STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE TRIFLE

HOW TO MAKE STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE TRIFLE

Are you ready to try a different recipe for a trifle? Those are among my favorite dessert dishes due to their BEAUTIFUL appearance. The possibilities for flavor combinations are almost unlimited, making them ideal for any special occasion. And I don't think I mentioned how simple it is to put together, either.

This strawberry cheesecake trifle is a straightforward dish that can easily handle a lot of guests for dessert. A light and airy dessert perfect for the warm weather, this dish is made using a cake mix purchased in a box, cheesecake pudding, whipped topping, and fresh strawberries.

Layers of fruit, cake, pudding, and whipped cream are the typical components of a trifle's assembly. You may sometimes find them with brownies or chocolate candies in one of the layers, but you'll want the varied textures of the harder cake and soft pudding along with the fruit in your dessert. In this particular recipe, we use strawberry cake, cheesecake pudding, strawberry dice, and cool whip.

When you have fresh strawberries stored in the fridge, this Strawberry Cheesecake Trifle is the dessert to make. We make this simple by using a box cake mix; but, if you prefer our homemade strawberry cake, you are more than welcome to use it instead. Let’s see the detailed ingredients list to start the preparation:

YOU’LL NEED:

A Strawberry cake mix box + all the ingredients required on the box.

Instant cheesecake pudding mix; I used 2 boxes.

3 Cups.Of milk; preferably 2%.

1½ Pounds.Of fresh strawberries; thinly sliced.

Whipped topping; I used 2 boxes softened to room temp.

DIRECTIONS:

1st Step:

Follow the directions on the cake mix box to make the strawberry cake. Bake the cake, then allow it to cool. Once the cake has cooled, cut it into bite-sized pieces approximately 2 inches.

2nd Step:

Mix the pudding mix and milk in a bowl of medium size using a whisk to get a smooth consistency. Put everything in the fridge until you're ready to put it all together.

3rd Step:

Save four or five whole berries. Cleanse the remaining berries, remove the stems, and chop them into bite-sized pieces.

4th Step:

Spread a single layer of ⅓ of the cake pieces on the bottom of a trifle dish. On top, spread ⅓ of the cheesecake pudding in a uniform layer and level it out.

5th Step:

On top of the pudding, spread ⅓ of the whipped topping and smooth it out. Top with about ⅓ of your strawberry slices. Continue in this way for two more layers.

6th Step:

To finish off the trifle, decorate the top with the remaining whipped topping and strawberry pieces. Then chill for 2-3 hours before serving.

7th Step:

You may keep leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours if you put them in an airtight container.
